Thank you for your interest in our team. We are thrilled to have you join! You can sign up online now, or show up at any of our practice venues or events.
Once you are a member of the team, you will enjoy the following privileges:
- Newcomer lessons every Saturday at the CCRB, taught by our professional coaches Steve and Susan McFerran and assisted by upper-level team members.
- Open Dance every Sunday at the Union hosted by the Ballroom Dance Club at the University of Michigan. The club also offers three lessons every Sunday afternoon that our team members get admittance to.
- Practice opportunities and lessons every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Dance Theatre Studio (DTS), which is a conveniently located studio on Central Campus. Mondays and Thursdays, upper-level team members hold lessons for newcomers. Tuesday and Wednesday are used for personalized instruction and practice times.
- Scholarship opportunities, as well as subsidization for major ballroom competitions throughout the year.
- Finally, you'll have friends, networks, and dancing skills that last a lifetime. And much, much more.
Once you become a member to our team you'll also get a CD with the best music from all the dances you'll be learning, and a membership card.
